Every photo lines up with the last one.

A progress photo is only useful if it can be compared. Hairbook turns the camera into a guide, so the photo you take today matches the one from three months ago.

  1. Your last photo becomes the guide

    When you open the camera, an outline of your previous photo from that angle sits over the live view. Move until your head fills the outline, then take the shot. Same angle, same distance, every time.

  2. Five angles, one guided session

    Hairbook walks you through each angle in turn, so no session is missing the view you need later.

    Choose the guide that suits you: a clean outline, your last photo as a faint overlay, or a plain camera.

Hairbook was started by an iOS engineer who began treatment in 2026 and found the hard part was everything around it: matching photos, remembering doses, and having something real to show a doctor.

It is designed and engineered end to end by one founder working with Claude as an engineering partner, from the first screen to the test suite. That is how a one-person company builds a product this complete, this fast.
